Goals the Week of Veterans Day

Goodness, it's been a long time since I've posted! This school year has been CRAZY! We have 12 new people on campus, two teachers have been on maternity leave, at least 7 kids in each class are new....it's wild.

But I'm hoping to blog more regularly. I love routines, and I feel like I'm finally starting to get into one!

I'm taking part in NaNoWriMo, something I've avoided since I've been in music, but I'm not stressing myself out too much about the Veterans Day performance, or the Christmas concert. (HA! TRYING not to stress, that is.) Anyway, I'm writing a new series, spinning off of Blame It on the Texas Stroll, set in Cascade, Texas, at the winery owned by Jolie's family. She has three brothers, so it will be a limited series, coming out next year.

I also reopened my Etsy shop, so if you want to see what I'm doing when I'm not writing or teaching, check it out!

So, this week...

1) Write 10,000 words
2) Work on edits on an older book
3) Revise a blurb
4) Survive Veterans Day performance
5) Sew something
6) Get to the gym at least 3 more times.

Without these amazing people in our lives, we won't be enjoying our lives today. Thank you to the veterans who sacrificed everything for us. They are the very reason why we're able to walk into our homes safely. If I can ever help them in more ways possible, I would've done it in a heartbeat. My parents always told me to show them the utmost appreciation and respect. They are responsible for the freedom that we're enjoying and we should value them as much as possible.
