Being Upbeat by Finding Simple Pleasures

Oh, it has been a long time since I blogged with any regularity. But my buddy Trish Milburn read The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin and started a project called #upbeatauthors, to spread positivity across the Internet. Each week we’ll be having a different theme for the week, so follow the #upbeatauthors for feel-good conversations.

The theme this week is “simple pleasures,” and wow, that was a hard one for me. I mean, I have a TON—walking my dog, sitting on my patio to write, going out to breakfast. I condensed it down to a category—TIME.

My simple pleasures are time to watch the sunrise as it brightens my house in the morning, time to take a stroll through my neighborhood, time to drink my coffee with lots of creamer, time to explore the machines at the gym instead of rushing through my workout. Time to make a good dinner without rushing. Listening to the Moana soundtrack on repeat.

What is your simple pleasure when you have time?

Keeping to your theme, time to read for pleasure and time to just sit and relax.

Songs make s feel better. Whenever I am sad and not feeling custom essay writing good then songs helped me a lot. We have mixed feelings inside and we want to talk to someone and after listening to the lyrics of melody songs it feels that someone has put our feelings in word.
